TheL.T. Wright Knives Genesis is a knife that is made to work. With features such as Micarta scales and heavy duty fasteners, it'll get the job done for you no matter what the circumstances. We take the time to do the little things like making sure the epoxy isn't just on the scales, but around every bit of the hardware to ensure a completely sealed scale set. This Genesis features a 1/8", A2 steel flat grind blade which makes this knife a real slicer and gives the knife excellent versatility. Additional features are the thumb scallops on each side allowing more comfortable control when doing more detailed work and a spine sharpened up like an ice skate so the edge is 90 degrees to allow the spine of the knife to work as hard as the cutting edge. Whether you're getting a tinder bundle scraped off a branch or striking a ferro rod off there, that spine will allow you to save the cutting edge for cutting tasks.

A heavy duty pouch style leather dangler sheath with firesteel loop is included. The dangler can be removed so the knife can be carried in the "high ride" position if desired.

The Genesis is not only a great purchase value but will be valued for years by providing efficient, dependable service.

The knife it's self is beautiful but not without flaws. The Maple handle scales are not perfectly even with the tang where your index finger grips the knife and has a very sharp protrusion at the bottom of the finger guard that needs to be filed down. The leather sheath I received is not made from the best quality of leather, it has wrinkled areas on the front and back and is extremely stiff and bone dry. I really do like this knife overall, but honestly I expected a lot better quality and attention to detail.
