The Great Eastern Cutlery Tidioute #46 Whaler pocket knife is a very large pocket knife that features two blades. It is truly one "whale-of-a-knife"!

Even though it is a unique pattern and large sized, it is a practical knife for many situations. If you have a small cutting task, the smaller pen blade will handle it. If you need to cut something like a large piece of rope, the large spear point blade will quickly get the job done.

The Blade(s):

This #46 Whaler pocket knife features a large spear point blade and a smaller pen blade made from 1095 steel and they have a satin finish. The large blade is 3" long and the pen blade is 2.1" long. They both have a nail nick (on opposite sides) for opening. The large blade features a swedge grind. There is no half stop.

The Handle Construction:

The handle length is 4.375" and provides a solid four finger hold. Each end of the handle is adorned with brushed Nickel Silver Bolsters. The knifes unique looks is accented by a large "Banner" Nickel Silver Inlay Shield. The handle scales are Desert Ironwood and the liners and pins are brass. The handle scale edges are rounded and flush with the outside perimeter making the knife more comfortable to hold.
