The Great Eastern Cutlery Northfield #44 Buffalo Jack (Gunstock) pocket knife is a classy knife that features two blades. Along with the great looks, it is a handy user knife for a variety of cutting tasks.
At 3.5" closed, the Buffalo Jack is a fairly large pocket knife but not so large that it is cumbersome to carry. With a larger clip point blade and a smaller pen blade, it can handle most any everyday cutting task that may come along.
The Buffalo Jack is a great knife for collectors and users as well.
We are an authorized Great Eastern Cutlery Dealer and purchased this new knife direct from them.
Made with pride in Titusville, PA.
This #44 Buffalo Jack pocket knife features a larger clip point blade with a 2.5" cutting edge and a smaller pen blade with a 2" cutting edge. Both are made from 1095 steel and have a polished finish. There is a nail nick on each one for opening with the larger blade featuring a "long pull". The larger blade also has the "NORTHFIELD UN-X-LD" trademark etched on it. Both blades have a half stop position.
The Handle Construction:
The handle length is 3.5" and provides a four finger hold for most people. There is a Brass Bolster and end cap on the handle. The bolster features a wide groove and the end cap has "UN-X-LD" inscribed on it. The handle scales are Cocobolo and the liners and pins are brass. The knifes great looks is accented by a "Bullet" Brass Inlay Shield. The handle scale edges are angled and flush with the outside perimeter making the knife more comfortable to hold.
Please Note: The picture is a sample of these knives and not the actual knife you will receive. Normally on wood handled knives we show the actual knife you will receive but the wood on these are all very similar.
