ESEE Knives has taken the best features of bushcraft/survival knives and created the outstanding ESEE-6. The ESEE-6 has become a very popular choice for an all-around wilderness/outdoor knife, and for good reason. With it's 5.75" cutting edge and 3/16" thick 1095 steel blade, it is possibly the best balanced knife ever designed by ESEE Knives. The blade measures 1.56" from cutting edge to spine. The 3/4" finger choil area right behind the cutting edge makes the knife adept at delicate tasks such as carving, making fuzz sticks, or food preparation. The razer sharp cutting edge is sharpened to approximately 20 degrees, and will hold its edge exceptionally well. The blades textured power coat is exceedingly durable, and will not wear off easily. Although it is longer than the ESEE-5, it is lighter; weighing only 12 oz it makes a great carry knife without excessive weight. Like most other ESEE Knives, The ESEE-6 features a full flat grind, making it a great all-purpose cutting and precise slicing tool. Whether you are in the military, a survivalist or an outdoorsman, this knife will soon become your best friend as you experience its superb form & function.

While they are adaptable and may be used for all manner of tasks, the ESEE-3 and ESEE-5 models may be considered to be more "tactical" in design, and the ESEE-4 and ESEE-6 may be considered to be "wilderness" knives. The ESEE-6 features a flat/rounded pommel, rather than the pointed pommel that comes standard on the ESEE-3 and ESEE-5 series. Each knife comes with a lanyard hole in the pommel. With an overall length of 11.75" and a drop point blade style, the ESEE-6 is a great knife for batoning firewood, general woodcraft, or even cleaning of fish. Its design also lends itself very well to field dressing and preparation of large & very large-sized game animals. The ESEE-6 is ideal for situations where a larger knife is needed and is still compact enough to make carrying easy. It's a great knife for camp use and for most any bushcraft needs.

The handles are made of Micarta, which is a durable material, created from soaking layers of linen cloth/canvas in resin, then compressing them under heat and pressure. They will perform well and withstand extreme use situations.

Improving the handle comfort and style of the ESEE 6 is easily achieved by installing our very popular custom G-10 handle scales, which are available in a wide variety of colors. They feature a palm swell and smooth ergonomic contouring. Our custom scales bolt on easily, and will transform the function, feel, and appearance of your knife.

The ESEE 6 is a multi-functional knife you can stake your life on when it comes to performance & durability. The people behind this knife developed it by experience & practical application... not theory. ESEE Knives is the only knife maker that hires full-time trainers and adventurers to develop and test their products, and conduct training in global wilderness environments.

ESEE Knives' innovative Sheath System provides the user with numerous carry options for tactical and wilderness environments. The high quality Blade-Tech molded plastic sheath is compatible for use in a MOLLE Setup. When this knife is used with the optional MOLLE back, the backer provides additional security for the knife when jumping from aircraft or other extreme activities that may cause it to come loose from the sheath. The sheath screws are made from stainless steel, and the sheath system is fully ambidextrous. The lashing holes facilitate storing a length of 550 paracord by wrapping around the sheath and through the open holes. The attached paracord can be threaded through the molded sheath to form a belt loop, fashioned to create a leg strap, or used as a pommel lanyard

In terms of quality and value, purchasing an ESEE Knife is a decision where you can't go wrong. Since 1997 Randall's Adventure & Training has designed no-nonsense, affordable field knives specifically targeted to military, law enforcement, and the special operations community. They have built a solid reputation. Their knives are carried by countless military personnel, law enforcement agencies, and special operations teams around the world. They have survived years of extreme use, brutal testing, and design refinement. Originally designed to withstand the toughest of harsh situations, ESEE Knives (Randall's Adventure & Training) now have a reputation that is second to none. To top it off, let's not forget ESEE Knives boasts an UNCONDITIONAL No Questions Asked Lifetime warranty, just in case you should manage to destroy your knife (see warranty details below). Buy with confidence, knowing your ESEE Knife purchase carries lasting value.

This ESEE Knife is made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as Sentry Solutions MARINE TUF-CLOTH.

WARRANTY AND CONSTRUCTION INFO:

ESEE knives are not considered "high production" due to the care that is taken during the manufacturing process. After the steel is laser cut to size, the knives are heat treated (**see note below). Both Micarta and G-10 handle slabs are profiled and radiused on a CNC milling machine, and each set of handles are matched and fitted to a corresponding knife blank. The reason for this is during the laser cutting process there is a certain amount of tolerance, so one knife may be a few thousandths of an inch bigger (or smaller) than the next. By marrying a set of handles to a blank throughout the manufacturing process, the user ends up with a finely fitted knife. The handles slabs are held in place with three screws fastened with Loctite into a barrel nut. When the handles are assembled, a fiber liner is placed between the Micarta or G-10 slab and tang of the knife. The partially serrated knives are made by milling each serration individually with a 3/8" end mill. Unlike a lot of serrations, these are designed to easily cut through fabrics, rope and other flexible materials.

Partially serrated blades are easily sharpened by honing with a flat hone across them in the same manner as you would hone the plain edge. The textured powder coat we use on ESEE knives is a special powder that has an increased amount of resistance to wear and corrosion, while maintaining a smoother feel than oxide or phosphate coatings.

**All ESEE Knives now feature a Rowen Manufacturing heat treat recipe that allows for hardening the blade completely to 57 Rc. while still maintaining flexibility.

No Questions Asked Warranty, from ESEE Knives - Randall's Adventure & Training: "If you screw it up, break it, or cut it in two with a cutting torch, send it back and we'll replace it. Warranty is transferable. In other words, we warranty the knife no matter how many times it's been traded, sold or given away. We don't ask for a sales receipt, date of purchase or where you bought the knife - No fine print and no hassles. We do not warranty against rust or normal wear and tear.

A lot of folks have asked us (ESEE Knives) how we can stay in business offering such great customer service and warranty protection. The answer is simple; we believe that our consumers, as a whole, are honest people. The occasional customers who are dishonest are few and far between, so even if we loose every once in a while due to dishonesty, our reputation of great customer service, regardless of the situation, brings us more good customers."

With the exception of the Lite Machete blade, all ESEE branded knives are manufactured in Idaho Falls, Idaho by Rowen Manufacturing. The Cordura MOLLE backs are sewn in Mexico. Izula gear sewn goods are made in Knoxville, TN.

This is a really awesome blade what I have ever.
Correct grip for my hand, blade style, color and so on.
One more, This blade introduced "Big Knife" on U-Tube or so.
Also I worried about the size when I pay for this blade
But you don't worry about that. Its not too big and heavy if you are
10 years more.
I payed recently for this one from Korea.
