The popular Lon Humphrey Kephartknife has now been teamed up with FORGED CPM 3V steel (Yes, you read that right... FORGED!). CPM 3V steel is a fantastic steel that provides exceptional toughness and edge holding.
The Lon Humphrey Knives Kephart is a simple, yet extremely practical knife and is a best seller. It is just the right size for most bushcraft/outdoor tasks and it feels great in the hand partly due to its great balance. The blade thickness is .188" +/- making it a very sturdy knife. The combination of the thick blade with a Scandi grind make it an ideal bushcraft knife for doing tasks such as batoning and woodworking. The long flat cutting edge is great for woodcraft and batoning. The approximately 4.25" long spear point blade with a curved cutting edge at the tip will make quick work of field dressing and carcass breakdown of large game. A new feature on this model is the squared edges on the spine allowing for the use of a firesteel and also for scraping tasks.

Lon Humphrey Custom Knivesoffers you unique, quality knives featuring old world craftsmanship from right here in the good old U. S. A.! The blade is deferentially heat treated for strength and edge retention. The blade features hammer marks and some forge scale giving the knife a unique appearance.
A hand made, top grain, heavy duty belt sheath is included.
Please be aware that due to the way this knife is made and the rustic nature of the knife, size and weight may vary, the grinds may not be evenly matched and other features may not cosmetically match. This does not effect the performance of the knife and adds to it's uniqueness.
