About LionSteel Knives
LionSteel Knives was established in 1969 in Maniago, Italy by Gino Pauletta and his wife Cesarina. Today, LionSteel Knives operates under the direction of Gianni, Daniele and Massimo Pauletta, who are the sons of Gino and Cesarina.
The Pauletta family takes their knife making business very seriously and has invested significant time and resources in LionSteel Knives. This commitment has produced a loyal following of knife collectors and users all around the world. Lionsteel Knives continues to innovate and introduce new designs that are on the "cutting edge" of technology and quality. To the best of our knowledge, the Lion Steel SR-1 knife is the first commercially produced folding knife with a monolithic titanium handle! This means that the handle frame is machined from a solid billet of titanium! This process is quite costly but the final product is a stunning knife that is very attractive yet incredibly strong. The Lionsteel SR-1 knife was awarded the coveted "Most Innovative Imported Design" at the 2010 Blade Show in Atlanta, GA.
The philosophy of the LionSteel knife company is to produce knives of distinction using the highest quality materials available, the finest machining techniques known and world class quality control.
This quality driven knife company continues to expand as the word gets out about their exceptional knives. We are very pleased to offer LionSteel Knives to our discerning customers who appreciate the fine quality of a world class knife.
LionSteel warrants that all of our products are free from defects in material and workmanship. If a knife or other product fails to function as it was designed, it should be returned to LionSteel's Warranty Repair Department for examination and evaluation of the problem. If we determine that there was a defect in materials or workmanship, we will repair or replace it with the same model or one of comparable value at our expense. If LionSteel determines that the problem with a knife was not due to a defect in materials or workmanship, we will assess our ability to repair the knife and provide a quote for those repair services. If LionSteel is unable to improve the condition of a knife, we will return it with the recommendation it be retired from use. LionSteel's warranty policy does not cover any damage caused by disassembly, abuse, misuse, loss, improper handling, alterations, accident, neglect, improper sharpening, or normal wear. Repairs or modifications performed by any source other than LionSteel also unconditionally void the knife's warranty. All costs associated with shipment to returned product are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact LionSteel warranty and repair for more information.
