Description
The Karesuando Kniven Bjornen Special is a traditional Scandinavian style outdoor knife that is designed as a versatile, all-purpose cutting tool. It will work great for large game animal processing, small de-limbing, bushcraft tasks and camp kitchen duties among other things. It features an Oiled Curly Birch handle that has been hand carved to provide an incredibly comfortable grip. The Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel blade provides a strong cutting platform which offers excellent edge performance and corrosion resistance.
The blade features an internal tang that inserts well into the handle and is secured very firmly with a high grade epoxy so that it won't come loose. In fact, Karesuando offers a 10 year warranty that if the blade ever comes loose, you will get a new knife. The internal tang design is very beneficial from a weight perspective.
Since all Karesuando Kniven axes and knives are handmade, no two are exactly alike enhancing their collectability.
