The Karesuando Kniven Hieno Fixed Blade is an exquisite, traditional Scandinavian style outdoor knife. It is a compact fixed blade knife that you will find very useful as you go throughout your day, especially when in the Great Outdoors. This knife is great for medium to large-sized game, fishing and other outdoor tasks. It is also suitable for whittling, carving and other fine work. It features a heat treated Masur Birch handle with Reindeer antler and brass spacers. The handle has been hand carved to provide a comfortable grip. The pommel features a beautiful Masur Birch cap with a Karesuando logo inlay. The Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel blade provides a strong cutting platform which offers excellent edge performance and corrosion resistance.

Since all Karesuando Kniven axes and knives are handmade, no two are exactly alike enhancing their collectability.

The blade features an internal tang that inserts well into the handle and is secured very firmly with a high grade epoxy so that it won't come loose. In fact, Karesuando offers a 10 year warranty that if the blade ever comes loose, you will get a new knife. The internal tang design is very beneficial from a weight perspective.
