This #43 Oregon Pattern pocket knife features a large clip point blade. The blade is made from 1095 steel and has a satin finish. The blade has a cutting edge of 3.125" and has a nail nick for opening. The blade has a half stop position. There is a circle with three "P" letters inside the circle which stands for "Pattern Production Premier" on the right side of the blade since the Tidioute run is the first run for the #43 pattern.
The Handle Construction:
The handle length is 4.187" and provides a solid four finger hold. A polished Nickel Silver Bolster adorns the handle. The knifes great looks is accented by a Nickel Silver Inlay Shield with "TIDIOUTE" inscribed in it. The handle scales are Frontier Bone and the liners and pins are brass. There is a brass lanyard tube in the handle/frame. The handle scale edges are rounded and flush with the outside perimeter making the knife more comfortable to hold.
