The Great Eastern Cutlery Tidioute #06 Pemberton is a traditional classic with its "coke bottle" shape. At 2.75" long, it's a realatively small knife that is very easy to carry. It makes a great pocket knife for those small everyday cutting needs that come along. Made with pride in Titusville, PA. We are an authorized Great Eastern Cutlery Dealer and purchased this new knife direct from them.
This Tidioute #06 Pemberton features a 1095 steel blade. The wharncliffe blade makes it a great knife for utility purposes and whittling. The satin finish blade has a cutting edge of 1.8" and a nail nick for opening. There is a half-stop.
The Handle Construction:
The handle scales are Muslin Micarta and the attaching hardware and liners are brass. The bolster, end cap and "Hotdog" inlay shield are nickel silver. The handle scale edges are rounded and flush with the outside perimeter making the knife pleasant to hold. The fit and finish are excellent and the blade action is crisp when opening and closing.
