The Northfield UN-X-LD #72 Cody Scout knife is one of the most practical and popular pocket knives offered by Great Eastern Cutlery. This medium-sized folder features a dependable lockback mechanism allowing the knife to be used efficiently for a variety of tasks whether it be hunting, woodworking or general every day utility use. The handle is long enough to provide a four finger hold for most people. This one is a winner in every respect! Made with pride in Titusville, PA. We are an authorized Great Eastern Cutlery Dealer and purchased this new knife direct from them.

The Blade(s):

This knife features a single clip point style blade with a swedge grind and a long nail nick for opening. The Northfiedl trademark is etched on the blade. The cutting edge is 2.875". The 1095 carbon steel blade has a satin finish and deploys very smoothly locking with a solid click. The park spring tension holds the blade firmly in place when closed.

The Handle Construction:

The handle scales are Violet Pioneer Bone and the attaching pins, liners and lanyard tube are brass. The bolsters and inlay are nickel silver. The handle scales are nicely shaped and are flush with the outside perimeter making the knife comfortable to hold. The fit and finish are excellent and the blade action is smooth with a solid lock-up when deployed.
