This Farm and Field Tool Hayn' Helper knife is primarily for those who want a tough, durable and affordable pocket knife. It offers full steel construction and features rugged Linen Micarta handle scales. The blade is 1095 carbon steel as is the spring. The pins are reinforced for the most demanding of cutting tasks. This Hayn' Helper is a little under seven inches with the blade open and the blade is three inches long. It's the perfect size for most pockets and the "average Joe's" hand.
Whether you are on the farm or in the flower garden, your pocket is a great place for a Hayn' Helper pocket knife. Made with pride in Titusville, PA. We are an authorized Great Eastern Cutlery Dealer and purchased this new knife direct from them.
This knife features a single Pruner style. There is no nail nick as the blade sticks out far enough when closed to open it with your thumb and finger. The cutting edge is 2.75". The 1095 carbon steel blade has a satin finish and features a solid half stop. "Hayn' Helper" and a farmer handling hay bales is etched on the blade.
The Handle Construction:
The handle scales are tough Black Linen Micarta and the attaching pin and lanyard tube are brass. The handle scale edges are rounded and flush with the outside perimeter making the knife comfortable to hold. The butt end of the handle sweeps up to balance out the design with the blade. The fit and finish are excellent and the blade action is crisp when opening and closing.
