Arno Bernard Knives

Arno Bernard Knives has captivated the USA knife market and the word is spreading quickly about their unique products. Arno Bernard Sr. is no newcomer when it comes to making knives as he has been in the business for over 35 years. He has been a member of the Knifemakers Guild of Southern Africa (KGSA) for over 20 years and is well respected around the world for his knife-making expertise. Even though Arno has made a thriving business of creating and producing beautiful knife pieces with the four Bernard boys, make no mistake about it.. their knives are custom made in every sense of the word.
Each Arno Bernard blade is cut from world class Bohler N690 stainless steel, freehand hollow ground and hand polished. They are heat treated and tempered using a liquid nitrogen process resulting in a blade that is 59-60 on the Rockwell hardness scale.

There are five series of Arno Bernard knives, the Bush Baby, Scavenger, Grazer, Predator and Giant. The variety of unique African animals inspire each individual Arno Bernard knife design (within each series) and they are appropriately named after these animals. All of the models are suitable for both collecting and everyday use and each knife is fitted with a custom pouch style sheath made from Cape Buffalo leather unless otherwise noted. There are 14 different materials that they use for their handles. One of the most unique aspects of Arno Bernard Knives is the use of some of the most exotic handle materials available with some only found in Africa such as Warthog Ivory Tusk, Giraffe Bone, and Crocodile Hide. All materials are obtained in perfect specimen form to complete the greatest value in custom fixed blade knives on the market day.
