The CR2.5 was designed by Cody Rowen. It features a stonewashed 1095 steel flat ground blade with a green canvas Micarta handle. This is the smallest knife in the Camp-lore series and it features a smooth rounded handle.

The ESEE Knives Camp-Lore CR2.5 is a great "Bird & Trout" knife as it excels at cleaning small game and fish. It also is a great everyday carry knife as the design lends itself very well for a variety of uses.

The Camp-Lore series was developed to answer the demand for traditional, basic, bushcraft knives. I purchased this dandy little knife from tkc. I love all my Camplores by Esee, but this one is my personal favorite. It's small, but a very handy and useful one for camp chores. The 90 degree spine is perfect for the fire steel. I tied a snake knot lanyard to the handle for assisting in deployment. Buy it. Highly recommended.
I love this blade, it replaced my folding knife and my lunch box blade. I use it for food prep, cordage cutting, package opening, etc. Then strop it and use it as my small Bushcraft blade. It took a patina nicely and is probably my current favorite knife period, let alone my Fav Esee. I don't carry my Candiru as often now cause of this knife. It is light enough for neck carry as well. -Nate
