This my everyday carry knife. I own 3 other DPX knifes
These geniuses writing reviews about the washers or the sticky locks REALLY need to give the knife a chance to break in before they decide Lionsteel and DPx don't know how to build a knife. These knives open smoothly and easily - smoother than ANYTHING I own with bronze washers, including a collection of Sebenzas. The key to an easy break-in is to loosen the pivot just a touch. The blade should only be a smidge off to the presentation side. After a month or so, tighten it back down, and you'll have a wonderful knife with a centered blade that will last you many years. I've had other DPx folders that had lock stick, but it too worked itself out after a month or so. These knives are well thought out, well made, and very reasonably priced. Just remember it's meant to be USED...if you're a keyboard commando who's going to put it in a drawer and open it 10 times a year, it's probably never going to break in.
Aesthetically it's a beautiful piece, however functionally it needs some improvement such as replacing the polymer pivot washers with phosphor bronze ones and a better fit of the titanium lock up. At the current price point and state of design and materials I will not be adding it to my collection. Dale at TKC was fantastic to deal with and a pleasure to do business with.
