This knife is a personal design by Mike Stewart (owner of Bark River Knives) of what he wanted to see in a Bushcraft Knife for all around use in the field. He wanted a substantial knife (and this is all of that) but not too big to actually have with you for Bushcraft. The handle should be comfortable for any size hand and is contoured for a Sure-Positive-Grip no matter how you hold it. The convex grind will give you maximum cutting power and easily baton through wood. They took their time developing this knife and field tested prototypes for over a year before it was finalized. -- The Aurora is one of Bark River Knives most popular models. -- A deluxe leather belt sheath is included.
Bark River Knives assigns a "series" title to most knives they make. This helps to indicate how the knife was intended to be used.
